The Rembrandt House

What was Rembrandt's life like? Where did Rembrandt paint and etch his masterpieces? The Rembrandt House Museum welcomes visitors who would like to feel his presence in it's recently restored seventeenth-century rooms.

Moreover, in 2006 it will be 400 years ago that Hollands greatest 17th century painter was born. The Dutch master is to be celebrated all year at the Rembrandt House Museum with four major exhibitions. Some paintings will return to the studio they were painted in for the first time in 350 years!
